Make Room.

Transformational leadership coaching for ambitious women and workplace design for organizations committed to helping them thrive.

Coaching & Consulting

The Work

Two pathways, one central question: What becomes possible when women step into their power and organizations see how their systems shape opportunity?

For Women

Transformational Leadership Coaching

Transformation doesn’t require becoming someone new. My coaching creates space for ambitious women to reconnect with their identity and voice, recognize the strengths and relationships that sustain them, and make choices grounded in their values, purpose, and aspirations. Together, we explore the personal patterns and workplace conditions shaping their experiences so they can move forward with greater clarity, agency, and wholeness.

For Organizations

Transparent Career Mobility and Talent Design

Career mobility doesn’t depend on talent alone. When roles are unclear, promotion criteria are inconsistent, and valuable skills go undocumented, women can be overlooked even when they are ready to grow. I help organizations create more equitable pathways by redesigning roles, career paths, promotion criteria, and talent decisions around clear, skills-based standards. This gives everyone greater visibility and access to opportunity while helping organizations build stronger leadership pipelines.

The Approach

Real change requires both personal clarity and structural change.

Lasting change cannot rest on women working harder while the systems around them remain unchanged. Women need space to tap in, understand what is shaping their choices, and move with greater agency. Organizations need clear roles, fair standards, and visible pathways for growth.

My approach works on both sides. I help women make room for more of who they are while helping organizations make room for their talent to be recognized, developed, and advanced.

Research-Informed & Grounded in Practice As a doctoral researcher pursuing an EdD in Organizational Change and Leadership at the University of Southern California, expected in 2027, I study the leadership experiences of Black American women C-suite executives through a healing-centered lens. My research explores how identity, agency, relationships, meaning, and aspirations shape leadership, well-being, and career mobility.

This research, combined with more than 15 years of HR leadership experience as a Chief People Officer, and ICF-trained coach, informs how I support women and help organizations build more equitable systems for growth.

Background

I built my career with intention, even when there wasn’t always support for where I wanted to go.

I did not become a Chief People Officer through one dramatic leap. I planned, prepared, and took calculated risks. I pursued promotions, made strategic pivots, and learned to advocate for myself when others did not always see or support what I was working toward. I learned to make room for my own dreams and goals instead of waiting for someone else to make room for them.

For more than 15 years, including as a Chief People Officer, I have worked at the center of organizational transformation. I have designed compensation programs, learning and development initiatives, career mobility and succession plans, and performance management processes, while leading the cultural and operational changes needed to bring them to life. Across that work, my focus has remained the same: creating people practices that are more equitable, consistent, and transparent.

Those experiences showed me that career growth is not determined by capability alone. It is also shaped by who gets seen, who receives honest feedback, whose potential is advocated for, and whether the path forward is clear. When those conditions are missing, talented women can be overlooked.

That is why my work focuses on both the woman and the system around her. I help women see themselves clearly, own what they want, and move toward it with intention. I help organizations build transparent, skills-based pathways so women’s career mobility does not depend on informal access or subjective advocacy.

No employee should have to wait for permission to pursue what they want. They also should not have to navigate invisible systems alone. My work helps women make room for their own aspirations while helping organizations create clearer, more equitable paths for everyone to grow and lead.

I connected with Tashia during an unexpected and challenging season of unemployment, and I am incredibly grateful that our paths crossed when they did. Her guidance gave me the confidence to advocate for myself, negotiate with intention, and navigate even the toughest interview questions with greater clarity and assurance. The level of support, wisdom, and insight she provided me is something I will hold dear for the rest of my life. Tashia is exceptional at what she does, but what makes her truly special is the genuine care, encouragement, and professionalism she brings to her work. I wholeheartedly recommend her for your coaching needs. If you have the opportunity to work with her, you will be in excellent hands.
